ONE-DAY COURSE

COURSE AIMS

The group/class will gain insight into the responsibilities and procedures associated with dangerous goods.

This will be achieved by the following:-

* Practical reading of information on data sheets/tremcards

* The group will be given visual aids that show the UN numerical classification

system associated with product hazards.

* Be made aware of the need to follow safe warehouse practices.

* Know what to do in an emergency.

Attached are excerpts from the training manual the candidate receives during their training, which outlines the course syllabus.

SUITABLE CANDIDATES

Members of staff, or work force dealing or handling chemical products within the company.

A Certificate of Attendance is issued for each candidate

A maximum of 12 candidates per course can attend.
