All the above courses are designed to meet the standards required by Health & Safety Commissions Code of Practice. Many organisations choose to train their operators using their own instructor.
Successful candidates will have their names entered on the national register and will have the necessary qualification to carry out training and testing as required by the Code of Practice. This qualification is valid for 5 years.

TRAINING METHODS
The course is highly participative and candidates will be expected to take part in all activities as the award of the qualification is based mainly on assessed performance. Throughout the course the candidates' progress will be assessed and he/she will receive regular feedback.
QUALITY
Our course tutors are very experienced industrial trainers who have successfully trained many new instructors to the standards required by RTITB and other accrediting bodies.
To gain the qualification the candidate must pass 8 examinations-
1. 2 & 3 Knowledge examinations based on the course content.
4. Conduct a classroom lesson.
5. Conduct a practical demonstration.
6. Conduct a practical lesson.
7. Construct and conduct a practical test.
8. Write an end of course report.
These examinations are timetabled at various stages during the course and time is available for further practice and retakes if necessary.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
All candidates should be experienced operators and must hold an operators certificate issued by a registered instructor within the twelve months preceding the course.
We are able to offer advice regarding the selection of suitable candidates and carry out the necessary pre course testing if required.
Students must have a current RTITB Basic Operator Certificate for either Counterbalance or Reach (Within Last 12 months)
